If you want to try it yourself
- Mark where the studs are and plan the rod height before you buy anything. The common spots are about 66 inches up for hanging long clothes and about 40 inches for short ones.
- Use a level and attach the end brackets into studs. Where there is no stud, use anchors rated for the load.
- Do not overload a rod. A rod full of coats weighs a lot, so support it in the middle if the span is long.
- Read the organizer instructions through once before you open the parts. The order of steps matters.
If it looks bigger than you expected, or you would rather not climb, drill, or lift, text us a photo and we will tell you what the job involves and what to buy, or we can do it for you.
What to send in your photo
- The inside of the closet, taken from the door.
- The organizer or rod box, showing the model.
- Any shelves or hardware already on the wall.
